The purchase of 625 is now complete!
It is hoped to have her up and running shortly. She will then be extracted from her current location to secure storage facilities where a start can be made on her restoration.

First start in preservation
After acquiring new batteries from Pavilion Batteries, and spending the best part of a week freeing the fuel control rods up (seized at stop) 625 was successfully started this morning.
Since going live a few more faults have manifested themselves (electrical and blowing exhaust), but nothing so serious to cause us any great concern.
Focus now turns to extracting her from the current location and securing suitable secure undercover storage.

Work continues on 625
Having acquired 625 at the end of July we still haven't been able to remove her from her current location due to other vehicles obstructing. However we will shortly be arranging a man with a crane to attend and remove said vehicles to enable 625 to be extracted.
In the mean time focus has shifted to building up a stockpile of spares to enable restoration to recommence swiftly once we can access her properly.

Storage Acquired!
We have now managed to find secure storage for 625 at a central location. 625 will be moving there once she is recovered from her current location. This is taking a little longer than hoped due to the previous owner being very slow to co-operate.
